Steps to a Successful App Smash
- Keep the end in mind (What do your want students to be able to do?)
- Choose a pool of apps to allow students to demonstrate their learning.
- Create initial content, add additional content, smash together to demonstrate new learning and share. Encourage students to use two or more apps.
- Student collaboration adds an additional layer of meta-cognition to the learning process.
- Incorporate opportunities for reflection.
